We are presenting you the guidelines for the COVID-19 safety of our skiers this winter at French Ski Resorts. Please read the guidelines carefully as they will tell you what you can do at your skiing vacation and all the information you need to know before you go, to be prepared.
Book you ski holidays in France!
Current Guidance
As an outdoor activity that uses plenty of equipment such as helmet, goggles, face warmer and gloves, skiing is already in accordance with social distancing. At certain public areas, capacity can be reduced. Also, it is obligatory that all the skiers aged 11 and over are wearing a mask.
Resort Access By Public Transport
- It is obligatory to wear a face mask before getting on the bus and during the bus ride.
Ski Lifts
- It is obligatory to wear a face mask while waiting in the line and once you get on the ski lifts.
- Contact points are regularly and carefully cleaned every day.
- There are no limitations on the number of people on the ski lifts.
- At times on ski lifts, you might not need to wear a face mask (check ski lift guidelines).
- When out on the slopes, the face mask is not obligatory.
In Equipment Hire Shops
- It is obligatory to wear a face mask.
- The equipment that is hired is carefully and fully cleaned.
- Hand sanitizing gel is at your disposal.
In Tourist Offices & Your Accommodation
- It is obligatory to wear a face mask in all communal and enclosed spaces.
- Hand sanitizing gel is at your disposal.
- All surfaces are carefully and frequently cleaned.
In Bars & Restaurants
- There is only a table service.
- The distance between tables needs to be 1 meter apart minimum, or there needs to be fixed or removable panels to ensure physical distancing.
- It is obligatory to wear a face mask when walking around the bar or the restaurant.
- Hand sanitizing gel is at your disposal.
- All surfaces are carefully and frequently cleaned.
At Ski Schools
- It is obligatory to wear a face mask when gathering at the beginning and end of class, for all the skiers aged 11 and over.
- There are no limitations on the number of people that can attend ski classes.
In Public Indoor Spaces
- It is obligatory to wear a face mask for everyone aged 11 and over.
- Hand sanitizing gel is at your disposal.
- All surfaces are carefully and frequently cleaned.
- The equipment that is hired is carefully and fully cleaned.
